Midlands housing association Platform is working with Vistry on Boulton Moor scheme in Derby.
The provider of mixed-tenure homes has signed a contract with Platform to deliver 213 affordable homes as part of the new Boulton Moor site, which will feature 526 new properties on the 47-acre site in total.

This project represents the third phase of Derby’s Strategic Urban Extension, which will ultimately create a 2,600-home village with facilities including schools, shops, a care home, businesses, a transport hub and electric vehicle charging stations.
Planning permission was granted in May 2025, with construction expected to begin in 2026.

Clarion and Hadley
Plans submitted for Penge’s Blenheim Centre scheme to be 100% social rent
Clarion Housing Group and Hadley Property Group’s development of the Blenheim Centre in the London Borough of Bromley now aims to deliver over 228 new social rent homes.
The partnership has submitted a planning amendment (known as a Section 73 application) that would enable the entire scheme in Penge to be brought forward as social rent homes, supported by Greater London Authority (GLA) grant funding.
All the new homes are intended for residents on Bromley Council’s housing waiting list.
The Blenheim Centre site is owned by a joint venture between Hadley Property Group and Latimer, the development arm of Clarion Housing Group.
In March 2024, the London Borough of Bromley approved proposals for a mixed-use development of up to 230 homes and commercial space, with 35% of homes originally designated as affordable housing.

“By working closely with Hadley and the GLA, we’ve found a way to go even further in meeting local housing need, providing 228 high-quality, well-designed homes that people can truly afford. This is a great example of partnership working and reflects our shared commitment to tackling the capital’s housing shortage.”
The revised planning application, which has been submitted to Bromley Council, includes 228 affordable homes and new ground floor Commercial spaces which open out onto a new public square.
Subject to approval, construction could begin in late 2026, with completion expected in 2029.
